Adam has been in public accounting for 20 years, after spending his first two years in private accounting. Adam is a graduate of Marian University, earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1998. Adam works in all areas of accounting, specializing in taxes for both businesses and individuals, resolving matters with the taxing authorities and providing QuickBooks and accounting consulting services. Adam is a valuable resource and reliable advisor to his clients, always responding in a timely manner.
Outside of the office, Adam enjoys playing ice hockey and softball. He also enjoys spending time with his family, and attending his kids sporting events.
2019 marks Michelle’s 21st year in public accounting. Michelle graduated from Marian University in 1998 with her bachelor’s degree in accounting. Michelle works in all areas of accounting including taxes for businesses and individuals, tax planning and advisory services, controllership services, compilations, and reviews. Michelle prides herself on building trusted client relationships. She is a constant resource to business owners and tax clients and works closely with clients to help them make sound business and tax planning decisions. Michelle is a very detailed orientated person and provides a personal service that clients appreciate.
In Michelle’s free time she enjoys spending time with Adam, and their children, Jadyn, Hope and Chase. She also keeps busy keeping up with all of the kids activities and sports as well as biking, playing volleyball, and bible study.
Laura Egelseer, CPA
Laura has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from UW-Whitewater. She worked many years in public accounting before taking some time off to spend more time with her growing family. Laura kept herself busy with her family and volunteering at her church with payroll processing and general accounting work. In 2017, Laura’s family no longer needed her full time, so she began to work again in public accounting on a part time basis.
In November 2017, Laura joined Schensema CPA. Laura prepares both business and personal income tax returns. Laura’s knowledge and experience in public accounting and tax return preparation have been a great asset to our firm.
When not working, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and boating on Big Cedar Lake. Laura and her husband, Rod, love to travel and have three children, one in high school, one in college, and one in the work force in the health care field.
Mary Loduha – Bookkeeper/Office Manager
Mary joined our firm in November 2017 after previously being a paralegal in a law firm for over 26 years, specializing in settling estates. She also served as that firm’s office manager, bookkeeper, and payroll manager. Mary currently serves as a bookkeeper and office manager for our firm. She handles monthly, quarterly and annual bookkeeping work for our clients along with processing payrolls and preparing quarterly payroll tax reports and the preparation of sales tax reports. She manages all administrative tasks of the firm. Mary’s great attention to detail and professionalism in all that she does is very much appreciated by all of our clients.
Outside of the office, Mary enjoys playing bags, bowling, and spending time with her husband, adult children, and grandchildren. She is also very involved with numerous volunteer activities and is a big Wisconsin sports fan.
